24-year-old college student killed by Hamas terrorists, report says

RE'IM, Israel (TND) — A Brazilian college student was killed by Hamas terrorists after the group invaded Israel, her family confirmed to Brazilian publication G24 Tuesday.

Bruna Valeanu, 24, was studying communication and marketing at Tel Aviv University. She was reportedly killed while attending a music festival near the Gaza Strip after it was attacked by Hamas terrorists.

Valeanu, who reportedly served as a shooting instructor in the Israel Defense Forces, is the second Brazilian victim of the terrorist invasion. A third Brazilian is still unaccounted for, having been missing since the conflict began.

Valeanu told friends and coworkers Saturday that she was surrounded by shootings and injured people in a wooded area, according to Brazilian newspaper Folha de S.Paulo. The interactions were reportedly the last time she was heard from.

“I am a dedicated student eager to broaden my horizons in the field of marketing and social media,” Valeanu described herself on Linkedin. “I am actively seeking a position that will provide me with the opportunity to cultivate my creativity, enhance my critical thinking abilities, and equip me with the tools to excel as a professional in this dynamic industry.”

Commenters on Instagram expressed their condolences for the senseless loss of life.

“My God, Ana Maria Braga just spoke on the program, that they found the body of this young woman,” a translated comment reads. “May God comfort and embrace the entire family.”

“I will be praying for you that Our Lady of the Rosary protect you and God protects you that our government of Brazil so praised by the leader of Hammas [sic] can do something Lord Jesus have mercy,” another said.

Valeanu is one of many victims killed in the Hamas terrorist attack. 25-year-old Noa Argamani was abducted by the terrorists and taken away on a motorcycle while attending a festival. A University of Washington Ph.D. graduate was also killed by Hamas terrorists while living on a kibbutz.

Shani Louk, 30, was abducted by Hamas while attending a music festival, and her naked body was later seen in the rear of a truck with seemingly broken bones. Hamas gunmen were seen sitting on top of her.
