WASHINGTON (TND) - Some of Philadelphia's biggest stars have partnered together to give back by making a huge donation to the city's children.

Comedian Kevin Hart, rapper Meek Mill, and 76ers co-owner Michael Rubin are teaming up to donate $15 million to 110 private and parochial schools in Philadelphia, according to CBS Philly. The donation will go towards allowing children from underprivileged families to attend these schools for the 2022-2023 academic year.

The trio has previously made moves to give back to the city of Philadelphia. In 2020, Meek Mill and Michael Rubin launched a $2 million scholarship fund to help cover the tuition of 1,000 pre-K to high school students from low-income households in the area who were attending private and parochial schools for the 2020-2021 school year, according to Billboard.

In 2018, Kevin Hart donated $600,000 in college scholarship funds to eight Philadelphia students. In 2020, Hart donated $250,000 to the School District of Philadelphia for technology upgrades and another $50,000 in scholarships to local high school students in need, as reported by Philly Voice.
