PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — Some heavy machinery was used to try and steal an ATM in northeast Portland, Oregon early Wednesday morning, according to the Portland Police Bureau.
Officers found the damaged ATM and abandoned stolen forklift just after 4 a.m. on Northeast Halsey Street Street. Police said an alarm call had gone off.
The attempted thief was not found.
